Who Are We?

Circle P Day Camp is an extension ministry of Parkdale Baptist Church and

has been serving our community since 1976. Our many trained and dedicated volunteers

from the church work as a team to provide the best summer camp experience possible!

Campers, ages 6-12, enjoy a full week of crafts, games, sports, competitions,

Bible discovery, singing, swimming and much more.

Registration is FREE but limited. If you would like to register your child(ren) for this summer’s day camp,

fill out and sign the Day Camp Registration Form ASAP and bring or mail it to:

Parkdale Baptist Church

474 Parkdale Ave.

Ottawa, ON   K1Y 1H1

Where Are We?

The camp is held at Ashfields Farm, a beautiful, 100-acre farm just west of Richmond.

Open fields, fresh air, and a lovely country setting make it an ideal place

for the wholesome activities of a Christian Day Camp.

Getting There

Each day of camp the bus will leave the church at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Children are picked up at their street corners along our bus route.

Then they enjoy the pleasant 25 km journey to the camp.

Children will be dropped off at the same stop between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m.

Safety First!

We take your child’s safety very seriously.

All our volunteers have taken a child safety course

and are required to have a police background check.

We also have “camp nurses” who are fully trained in first aid.

Camp Activities:

image011     Crafts

Each child will create a special craft of their own, depending on their age.

The crafts will involve skills such as woodworking,

painting, stenciling, leatherwork, and string art.

image014     Sports

The campers participate in various team sports and games

that encourage good sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership skills.

image015     Chapel Time

Chapel Time consists of camp songs, Bible lessons,

missionary adventure stories and memory verse competitions.

image017     Swimming

From Monday to Thursday, the campers will enjoy a supervised

swim time at an indoor pool in Ottawa, before heading home.

image019     Closing Ceremonies

On our last day of camp, campers’ families are invited

to join us for the closing ceremonies at 5:00 p.m.

The campers will perform some of the camp songs they have learned

and team and individual awards will be presented.

image020     Barbecue

After the closing ceremonies, there is a barbecue, for which we provide

hundreds of hamburgers and hotdogs, drinks, chips, and dessert.
