Circle P Day Camp

All children ages 6 to 12
are welcome to attend.
(children under 6 cannot be accepted)
Who Are We?
Circle P Day Camp is an
extension ministry of Parkdale Baptist Church and
has been serving our community since 1976. Our
many trained and dedicated volunteers
from the church work as a team to provide the best summer
camp experience possible!
Campers, ages 6-12, enjoy a full week of crafts, games, sports, competitions,
Bible discovery, singing, swimming and much more.
Registration is FREE but limited. If you would like to register your child(ren) for this summer’s day camp,
fill out and sign the Day Camp Registration Form ASAP and
bring or mail it to:
Where Are We?
The camp is held at Ashfields
Farm, a beautiful, 100-acre farm just west of
Open fields, fresh air, and a
lovely country setting make it an ideal place
for the wholesome activities of a Christian Day Camp.

Getting There
Each day of camp the bus will
leave the church at approximately 9:30 a.m.
Children are picked up at their
street corners along our bus route.
Then they enjoy the pleasant
Children will be dropped off

Safety First!
We take your child’s safety very seriously.
All our volunteers have taken a child safety course
and are required to have a police
background check.
We also have “camp nurses” who are fully trained in
first aid.
Crafts
Each
child will create a special craft of their own, depending on their age.
The crafts
will involve skills such as woodworking,
painting, stenciling, leatherwork, and string art.
Sports
The
campers participate in various team sports and games
that encourage good sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership
skills.
Chapel Time
Chapel
Time consists of camp songs, Bible lessons,
missionary adventure stories and memory verse competitions.
Swimming
From
Monday to Thursday, the campers will enjoy a supervised
swim time at an indoor pool in Ottawa, before heading home.
Closing Ceremonies
On our
last day of camp, campers’ families are invited
to join us for
the closing ceremonies at
The campers will perform some of the camp songs they
have learned
and team and
individual awards will be presented.
Barbecue
After the
closing ceremonies, there is a barbecue, for which we provide
hundreds of hamburgers and hotdogs, drinks, chips, and
dessert.
